Animal photography draws me in because animals never perform for the camera. Every image depends on patience, observation and being ready for a moment that may last only a second.

What fascinates me most is capturing character: the alert expression of a wild animal, the trust in a pet’s eyes, or the quiet intensity of an animal completely unaware of the camera. Light, movement and instinct come together in ways that can never be fully planned.

For me, photographing animals is about more than creating a beautiful picture. It is about preserving a brief, genuine encounter between photographer and subject — a moment of nature, personality and emotion that will never occur in quite the same way again.
